Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Last Mile warehouse in Valencia, CA. The role focuses on supervising on-site staff, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining vendor relationships. Training will occur on day shift with a 9pm–5:30am schedule from Wednesday to Saturday.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in logistics or related fields, experience in manufacturing, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Maersk offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain or Related Field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Experience supervising direct reports and conducting performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relations with vendors, stores, independent contractors.
• Ensures follow up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods and in-home damage claims.
• Dispatches trucks using GPS technology.
• Oversees in-home delivery for customers.
• Maintains monthly operating reports including statistics and customer service scores.
• Oversees Customer Service Representatives and Routers.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job.
• Directly supervises hourly on-site staff handling data entry, customer service, order processing and delivery.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities per policy and applicable laws.
• Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and providing direction; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

We are seeking an Assistant Manager in for our Last Mile warehouse in Valencia, CA!

Shift

9pm-5:30am Wednesday-Saturday

(Training will be on day shift)

Pay Range:

$72,000-$80,000 per year

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
