Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous dairy management or assistant management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and employee development skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Experience with milking systems, parlor operations, and milk quality management.
• Knowledge of herd health, reproduction, and dairy production practices.
• Experience with dairy management software and computerized recordkeeping systems.
• Spanish-speaking ability preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a management team.

The Assistant Dairy Manager will help coordinate activities across the herd, maternity, youngstock, feeding, and crop production departments, using dairy management software and production data to support operational decisions.
