Stewart's Shops is a fast growing convenience store chain in New York and Vermont seeking an Assistant Manager with flexible schedules to deliver excellent customer service. This entry-level management role helps you build leadership skills while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Experience in food service or retail is a plus, with opportunities for growth from within the organization. This full-time position requires a flexible schedule and a drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Entry-level management opportunity to develop leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Effectively run a shop in the managers absence.
• Assist shop partners and customers with questions and concerns.
• Strong working knowledge of Stewart's operations, tools and culture.
• Teach others by example and create a positive and fun atmosphere.
• Assist with schedule writing and requests.
• Prepare food items such as pastries, sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and other Quick & Easy Food On The Go options.
• Make coffee and keep multiple flavor options fresh and available throughout the day.
• Scoop and serve ice cream.
• Process customer transactions through the register.
• Stock shop shelves, and the cooler and freezer.
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of the shop.
• Be aware of shop promotions and communicate them with customers.
