Job summary

Jason's Deli is seeking an Assistant Manager in Lee's Summit, MO to supervise front line and back line set-up, catering prep, and to-go services. You will hire, train, and discipline staff, and ensure the overall effectiveness of your area in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months of experience, and the ability to lead a team with strong English communication and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months work experience.
• Age 18+ and able to direct staff; must exercise sound discretion; able to read, write, and communicate in English; basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; counting change and handling money and credit card slips.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and discipline day and night staff; be responsible for the overall effectiveness of your area.
• Oversee front line set-up, back line set-up, catering prep, and to-go set up; supervise catering/delivery coordination, order taking, cashiering, and delivery staff.
