Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 17328 in Clinton, SC area. This role supports daily operations, delivers great customer service, and leads a small team across second or third shifts.

You'll manage cash handling, inventory, and scheduling, while coaching staff to upsell and maintain a clean, welcoming store. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Open availability for weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Physically able to perform cleaning and outdoor pump maintenance tasks.
• Minimum age 18+.
• Clear English communication and basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and adapt to store operations.
• Food Safety Certification required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing customer-service team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean store including restrooms and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Open Availability: You must be available to work weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.

• Minimum Age Requirement: 18 + years old

• Communication Skills: Proficient in English with basic math skills.

• Certification: Must have (or be able to obtain obtain) a Food Safety Certification
