Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Little Rock, AR store to assist the Store Manager in guiding the team and delivering a seamless, personalized customer experience. You will help train staff, drive sales, and embody our hospitality culture on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates bring retail leadership experience, strong communication, and a commitment to community engagement, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability - nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. This position helps foster a welcoming environment-for both associates and customers-that enables us to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.

You’ll bring to the role

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability - including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
