knitwellgroup is seeking an Assistant Manager for our WHBM affiliate in Allen, TX to support the Store Manager in leading a team and creating a welcoming, customer‑driven environment. You will help deliver personalized experiences that reflect our hospitality culture and drive store performance.

The role emphasizes team leadership, coaching, and hands-on involvement on the sales floor, with a focus on community engagement and impeccable store standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading the team, building community connections, and creating a seamless customer experience. This position helps foster a welcoming environment—for both associates and customers—that enables us to create memorable, personalized experiences that reflect our culture of hospitality.

• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.

You'll bring to the role
