Things you will be responsible for

1. Mission Statement: Knowledge of and use of Mission Statement and Core Values.
2. Guest Focus: Ensure each guest receives outstanding service including greeting, acknowledgment, maintaining standards, product knowledge, and other components of guest service.
3. Profitable Sales: Assist the general manager in meeting budgeted sales and maintaining gross profit.
4. Financials: Assist in controlling shrink, expenses, and payroll.
5. In-stocks: Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, adjacencies, presentations, signing, assortment, and adequate stocking.
6. Goals and Objectives: Review store trends and recommend changes to maximize goals.
7. Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with all policies and complete paperwork for cashier reports, payroll, and miscellaneous items.
8. Performance Review: Evaluate and communicate performance issues to the general manager and recruit employees.
9. Talent Management: Train and develop customer service employees; direct and monitor training.
10. Cleanliness: Keep the store clean, neat, and meeting Rhodes 101 expectations.
11. Extra Stuff: Include additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and lift/move items over 50 pounds. Required vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Travel

Very minimal travel; occasional trips to support other stores and attend required meetings.
