Read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating adverse terrain such as multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work along and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality‑control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Standing: Most tasks performed from a standing position; walking surfaces include ceramic tile, bricks with linoleum; work surfaces 36”–48” high.
Walking: Generally in short distances for short durations.
Delivery personnel must travel between the store and the delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer’s location.
Sitting: Paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
Lifting: Bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more, unloaded with a hand truck; cases up to 50 lbs.
Carrying: Large cans (≈3 lbs 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lbs), trays of dough (≈12 lbs each). During delivery, carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking and climbing.
Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area, multiple deliveries per shift.
Pushing: Move trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 lbs.
Climbing: Occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change signs, wash walls, perform maintenance; delivery may require navigating five or more flights of stairs.
Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the pizza assembly station; repeated 40–45‑second intervals.
Crouching/Squatting: Performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching: Continuous reaching up, down, forward; up to 72” to turn on/off ovens or lift objects, down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes, forward to obtain topping ingredients or answer phones.
Hand Tasks: Eye‑hand coordination essential; hands used continuously; frequent activities.
