Responsibilities

• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car and then to customer door; deliver flyers and door hangers.

Essential Functions/Skills

• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (may use calculator); make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Work Conditions

• In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above; sudden changes in temperature; fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Requirements

• Standing: Most tasks performed standing; walking on ceramic tile/linoleum; work surfaces 36–48 in. high.
• Walking: Short distances, short durations; delivery personnel travel between store and vehicle and to customer locations.
• Sitting: Paperwork normally at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries twice a week; unloading by hand truck; cases up to 50 lb.
• Carrying: Large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), trays of dough (~12 lb); during delivery carry pizzas, sides, beverages.
• Driving: Deliver pizzas within designated area; may make several deliveries per shift.
• Pushing: Move trays on dollies; up to 7.5 lb force required.
• Climbing: Navigate stairs or ladders to change prices, wash walls, perform maintenance; sometimes five flights of stairs.
• Reaching: Up, down, forward; occasionally above 72 in. to operate ovens, change sign prices, lift/lower objects; also down to scoop cornmeal, wash dishes; forward to obtain toppings, clean, answer phones.
• Hand tasks: Eye‑hand coordination essential; continuous use of hands.
