Job Duties

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

• Deliver product by car and then to the door of the customer.

Physical Demands

• Standing: Most tasks performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile “bricks” with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces between 36” and 48”.
• Walking: Short distances and short durations.
• Delivery personnel must travel between the store and the delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer’s location.
• Sitting: Paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
• Lifting: Bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds unloaded by hand truck. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies up to 3’ × 1.5’. Cases stacked up to 72” high.
• Carrying: Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, carried from workstation to storage shelves. Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds carried from the storage room to the front of the store. Trays of pizza dough carried three at a time over short distances, approximately 12 pounds per tray.
• Driving: Deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area. May make several deliveries per shift.
• Pushing: Move trays placed on dollies; a stack on a dolly 24”–30” requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force. Trays may also be pulled.
• Climbing: Occasionally navigate stairs or a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, or perform maintenance. Delivery may require navigation of five or more flights of stairs.
• Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist at the pizza assembly station. Duration approximately 40–45 seconds repeated continuously during the day. Also present at the front counter when stocking ingredients.
• Crouching/Squatting: Performed occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
• Reaching: Continuous up, down, and forward. Above 72” occasionally to turn oven controls, change sign prices, or lift/lower objects to/from shelves. Downward reach to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes. Forward reach to obtain topping ingredients, clean work surfaces, or answer phones.
• Hand Tasks: Eye–hand coordination essential. Use of hands continuous throughout the day.
