Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Store Assistant Manager to oversee daily store operations, handle customer orders, and ensure accurate cash handling. You will deliver a high standard of service, manage inventory, and coordinate deliveries, while using computers or touch screens to enter orders.

This on-site role requires good math, strong communication, navigational skills for delivery routes, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide accurately and quickly; able to make correct monetary change.
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication to take and process orders.
• Manual dexterity and motor coordination for quick, precise movements.
• Able to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Able to comprehend and follow written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person or over the phone.
• Deliver product by car and proceed to customer door; deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Have good navigational skills to read maps and locate designated delivery addresses.

Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person. Deliver product by car and then to door of customer. Deliver flyers and door hangers. Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area. Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
