OneMain Financial is seeking an Assistant Manager to support Branch Managers in delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will lead by example in providing loan solutions, underwriting decisions, and collections activity throughout the loan life cycle.

The role emphasizes leadership development, coaching of staff, and achieving branch goals while complying with laws and regulations. On-site schedule Mon-Fri with occasional extended hours.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required to perform the role.
• Experience in financial services or leadership is required.
• Current insurance licensure in state or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver results on individual and branch sales and collections goals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers through the loan process.
• Present financial solutions based on customer needs and educate on loan terms.
• Assist in training Branch Team Members and provide interim leadership when Branch Manager is absent.

Assistant Managers lead by example in providing personal loan solutions through underwriting decision making and collection activity. The Assistant Manager position serves as a developmental opportunity for future leadership roles within the branch network.

IN THE ROLE

Deliver results related to individual and branch sales and collections goals as well as customer expectationsDevelop new relationships – and maintain existing relationships - working with customers throughout the loan process and loan life cyclePresent financial solutions, based on customer needs, that meet their goalsPresent customers with optional insurance productsavailable Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loan to ensure a clear understandingLearn how to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales toolsManage the life cycle of the loan, including closing loans, collections activities, complying with all laws and regulations Assist in the training and coaching of Branch Team Members and provide interim leadership in Branch Manager absences

Requirements

HS Diploma/GED Proven experience in achieving established business goals and objectives Experience in financial services or leadership Current insurance licensure in state or ability to be licensed within 6 months

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field Bilingual: Spanish

Location

On site The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday during standard business hours, with some extended hours during the week as needed which may include Saturday.
