Job summary

Windsor Fashions is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership team in Whitehall, PA. You will support the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching a team of fashion-focused Stylists, and maintaining the Oasis experience for customers.

You will oversee daily operations, uphold Windsor’s policies, and contribute to achieving productivity, payroll, and expense goals while promoting our brand values and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ year retail management experience
• Proven leadership experience and ability to motivate a team of up to 25 employees
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
• Flexible schedule including opening and closing shifts

Responsibilities

• Drive sales as part of the sales-directing team and create an omnichannel Oasis experience for every customer
• Support the Store Manager in finding and retaining great talent and building a strong talent pool
• Organize and plan daily operations, own the sales floor, and execute Windsor’s standards
• Lead and train stylists, provide feedback, coaching, and recognition to improve performance
• Uphold Windsor policies and ensure a neat, compliant store environment and merchandising directives

As a Windsor Assistant Manager you are a key member of our store leadership team. You support the team in driving our mission statement in your store. You are responsible, in partnership with your Store Manager, for achieving store productivity in terms of sales, shrink, payroll and expenses. You are consistently making new networking connections to ensure your store has a wide talent pool. You're committed to an exceptional onboarding experience that supports the store’s retention goals.
• Right people, right place, right time is your motto: You organize and plan in ridiculous detail to get the job done. You own the sales floor to ensure you execute daily operations and create the Oasis for your customers.
• You have a passion for leading people: You partner with the Store Manager to supervise and conduct training with your team. You lead by example, communicate clearly and foster a culture of continuous improvement with our stylists through recognition, coaching, feedback, and utilizing company tools and programs.

Physical Demands

Frequently stands, walks, observes, bends and pushes. Must be able to count, communicate, read and write in English. Must be able to: access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area and register area, operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store, climb ladders, move or handle merchandise or supplies throughout the store (generally weighing from 0-25 pounds) and work varied hours/days to oversee store operations. Environment is fast paced and indoor temperature conditions vary.
