Job summary

Circle K in Sartell, MN, is hiring an Assistant Manager to oversee store operations and support the Store Manager. You will help hire, supervise and coordinate staff, manage bookkeeping and merchandising, and ensure fast, friendly service to customers. Attendance and punctuality are essential.

You will drive the food program and lead by example, demonstrating urgency, patience and strong leadership to maintain high standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred for this role.
• Supervisory/management experience is important for leading the team.
• Recruiting, interviewing and hiring skills are needed to build staff.
• Experience handling food is a plus; familiarity with food programs.
• High School or College degree(s) meet education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with oversight of the Stationstore operations, hiring, supervising and working with staff to accomplish daily tasks, bookkeeping and merchandising.
• Maintain high standards and provide fast and friendly service to customers, with regular onsite attendance.
• Lead the Circle K food program and set an example for staff, showing urgency, patience and leadership.

Your key responsibilities:

You will assist the Store Manager with oversight of the Stationstore operations. You’ll help with hiring, supervising and working with the staff to accomplish daily tasks, bookkeeping and merchandising. You will help to maintain our high standards and provide fast and friendly service to our customers. Provide regular and predicable onsite attendance.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
• Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift
• Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
• Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds
• Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift
• Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands. This handwork requires eye-hand coordination, and may require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs

Hiring Range: $15.00 to $19.00
