Job summary

Drybar Prosper is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Lead Hair Stylist to join our team. This role blends high-end blowouts with leadership, guest service, and daily shop operations. You’ll coach stylists, drive guest experiences, and help manage schedules in a fast-paced salon.

Ideal candidates have leadership experience in beauty or hospitality, a valid cosmetology license, exceptional styling skills, and a passion for delivering memorable blowouts. Weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or management experience in beauty, hospitality, retail, or another customer-focused environment.
• A current and valid cosmetology license for the state in which you are applying.
• Amazing hair styling and finishing skills.
• A genuine passion for blowouts, beauty, and delivering exceptional service.
• A natural ability to coach, motivate, and encourage others.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A positive, energetic attitude and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences

• Flexible availability, including weekends and some evenings

• Support the Manager / Shop Educator with day-to-day shop operations
• Lead by example and create an upbeat, welcoming environment for guests and team members
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience from check-in through checkout
• Support team members through coaching, motivation, and performance development
• Help drive sales, rebooking, memberships, retail, and overall shop goals
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, opening and closing procedures, and daily operations
• Maintain Drybar’s standards for cleanliness, presentation, service, and hospitality
• Handle guest questions or concerns professionally and find solutions that create loyal guests
• Help build a strong team culture centered around teamwork, accountability, and positivity
• Step into a leadership role and help keep the shop running smoothly when the Manager is unavailable
• Serve as a positive resource and role model for the stylist team
