Our assistant manager will report to the general manager and will ensure that all guests and employees have a great experience. They direct, coordinate, implement and manage the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve identified objectives/sales goals, cost controls, employee hiring/training/retention, guest service/satisfaction, product quality and cleanliness/sanitation. Position is responsible for ensuring adherence and compliance for all standards of operating a Chicken Salad Chick location.

As an Assistant Manager you will:

• Be a key support person for the GM as a Brand Ambassador for Chicken Salad Chick
• Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service
• Ensure that all products are consistently prepared and served according to CSC standards
• Achieve identified objectives for sales, service, quality, the appearance of the facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees. Create a positive, productive working environment.
• Operationally fill in as needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
• Coach and motivate the team
• Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development
• Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs
• Ensure that all products are received in the correct unit count and conditions and deliveries are performed following the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures
• Control food and equipment inventories, perform weekly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Schedule labor for anticipated business activity to provide optimal guest service, product quality and operating standards
• Always adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming.

Education and Experience:

• One to two years related experience

Physical Demands:

• Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility, including bending and stooping for the duration of the workday.
• Must be able to work and perform all duties at any station in the kitchen and service area

Pay: Starting at $18 per hour plus discretionary bonus
