Job summary

A leading company in skin care and beauty, Palm Beach Tan, is seeking a Store Manager for its Myrtle Beach location. This role offers a competitive starting pay of $12.50 per hour plus commission, flexible work hours, and a 5-week training program designed to develop management skills. Responsibilities include supervising staff, analyzing sales data, maintaining a positive environment for customers and employees, and ensuring compliance with safety and legal requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age and 1 year of supervisory experience required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Should be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• This position has a required 5-week manager-training course with performance metrics.
• Maintain store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• Ability to effectively motivate others
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
• Other duties as assigned
