Uptown Cheapskate in Murray, UT is seeking a Sales Associate in Training to grow into leadership. You'll help create a great shopping experience, assist customers, keep the store neat, and learn operations from the ground up.

This role offers hands-on training, flexible scheduling, employee discounts, and a path to Fast-Track Supervisors. If you have a positive attitude and a passion for fashion, we'd love to meet you.

Formación

• Retail or fashion experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable customer service.
• Help customers find styles and products that fit their needs and personalities.
• Stay up to date on current fashion trends, brands, and styles.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and inviting, including fitting rooms and floors.
• Process purchases, returns, and other transactions accurately.
• Assist with merchandising and receiving to keep merchandising attractive.

What You'll Do

As part of our team, you'll help create an amazing shopping experience while keeping the store looking its best.

• Provide friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable customer service.
• Help customers find styles and products that fit their individual needs and personalities.
• Stay up to date on current fashion trends, brands, and styles.
• Help create a fun, welcoming, and fashion-focused shopping environment.
• Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, registers, and back room clean, organized, and inviting.
• Merchandise clothing and accessories in an attractive and organized way.
• Maintain high standards for store cleanliness and presentation throughout the day.
• Process purchases, returns, and other customer transactions accurately.
• Assist with buying and evaluating clothing and accessories when needed.
• Help receive, organize, price, tag, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor.
• Work as a team to meet store goals and provide an excellent customer experience.
• Take ownership of your responsibilities and help keep the store running smoothly.
• Follow company policies and procedures while helping create a positive team environment.
• For Fast-Track Supervisors: Take on additional leadership responsibilities, help support the team, and assist with daily store operations and opening/closing procedures.

Leadership & Management Responsibilities

For team members in a Supervisor or Management role, additional responsibilities will include:

• Lead, motivate, and coach the store team to create a positive and productive work environment.
• Set clear expectations for attitude, attendance, reliability, customer service, and overall performance.
• Hold team members accountable to store standards and company expectations.
• Help train and develop employees, providing feedback and coaching when needed.
• Manage daily store operations and ensure the store is running efficiently.
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, merchandising, and overall store appearance.
• Ensure customers receive exceptional service and that the team consistently represents the Uptown Cheapskate brand.
• Monitor employee performance and recognize team members who go above and beyond.
• Address performance issues professionally and consistently.
• Help create schedules and ensure appropriate coverage for the needs of the business.
• Lead by example by demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, dependability, and excellent customer service.
• Help the store achieve sales, productivity, and operational goals.
• Take ownership of the store's success and look for ways to continually improve the customer and employee experience.
• Create a culture where employees feel supported, valued, and motivated to do their best work.
