Job summary

Dairy Queen in Murfreesboro, TN, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations and to lead a busy team. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of management in a high-volume restaurant preferred.

• Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant.
• Interact with the public and co-workers constantly during shifts.
• Must have excellent customer service skills and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Staff, train and develop hourly employees through hiring, orientations, ongoing feedback, and performance reviews.
• Prepare hourly employee schedules to meet staffing requirements for each day part.
• Exercise good judgment in decision-making and reporting issues to the GM.
• Perform other duties as requested by the GM.

Purpose of Job

• Maintain a positive working relationship with all restaurant employees to foster and promote a cooperative and pleasant working climate, which will be conducive to maximize employee morale, productivity and efficiency.
• Communicate all significant issues, both positive and negative, with GM.

Requirements

Qualification Standards

• One to three years of management in a high volume restaurant preferred, QSR experience strongly preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

• Must be able to perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant including moving and responding quickly for long periods of time.
