Job summary

Jersey Mike's LACEY is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, coach a positive, high-performing team, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will be involved in hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, food safety, and cost control, while driving growth, maintaining Jersey Mike's standards, and supporting franchisee leadership.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations while building a positive, high-performing team.

Your responsibilities include:

• Helping lead all day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Coaching, developing, and motivating team members through positive leadership
• Assisting with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees
• Leading shifts while maintaining Jersey Mike's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service
• Monitoring labor, productivity, and food quality throughout each shift
• Assisting with inventory management, ordering, receiving deliveries, and controlling food costs
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company operating standards
• Handling customer concerns professionally and creating positive resolutions
• Supporting scheduling, daily operations, and restaurant performance goals
• Opening and closing the restaurant as needed
• Leading by example and fostering a positive, accountable, team-first culture

Restaurant management experience is preferred, but we welcome strong Shift Leaders who are ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in a restaurant, retail, or customer service environment preferred
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must meet applicable age requirements for operating certain equipment, including slicer equipment, where required by state or local regulations
• Food safety certification may be required and will be provided through training if applicable
