Job summary

Burger King is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the restaurant manager in daily operations, ensuring profitability and adherence to company standards. You’ll help drive customer service, manage costs, and develop team members in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Assistant Management in QSR, a High School diploma or GED, and familiarity with POS systems plus ServSafe certification. Expect a 40-hour week with early openings and occasional shifts.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

As the Assistant Manager, you will assist the restaurant manager in profitably operating the restaurant within the practices and procedures established by Company Operations. This position is responsible for cost control, customer service, restaurant and employee appearance, building sales, maximizing profits, and employee development.

What You’ll Bring (Requirements)

• A minimum of 2 years of Assistant Management experience, currently, in the QSR industry is required.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is required.
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends): 40-hour work weeks with the expectation of opening at least twice a month (5:30 am), working the mid-shift once a month, and closing twice per month, required.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Communication and team management abilities.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
