Responsibilities
- Understand all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines & training programs.
- Achieve company objectives in service quality and appearance of the facility through training of employees while creating a positive working environment.
- Meet scheduling requirements, cover all shifts where needed to ensure operations go undisturbed; follow up with the store manager for any callouts or no‑shows.
- Ensure weekly truck deliveries are made by the scheduled times, controlling cost by ordering what is needed.
- Inspect equipment daily and keep the temperature log up to date.
- Inspect all products to ensure they have been received in correct unit count and condition; report any differences with the store manager.
- Be always prepared for QSC inspections, ensuring cleanliness, procedures, and equipment are maintained and meet standards.
Key Skills / Abilities
- Assist the crew with all guest interactions, ensuring they feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly and courteous service.
- Assist the crew with preparing and packaging all orders according to Wingstop standards, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Ensure cashiers consistently use the correct corporate guidelines (e.g., using the name, pushing the surveys).
- Oversee cash and credit handling by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures, ensuring deposits are accurate and credit card transactions are balanced.
- Make employee assessments by assigning one‑on‑one counseling reports with the store manager for review.
- Hold crew accountable for cleaning, any damages to company property and work output.
- Be knowledgeable about personal and administrative policies; act fairly and consistently with any corrective actions for violations of company rules and procedures.
Working and Building Your Shift Leaders
- Supervise that shift leaders use correct opening/closing procedures and adhere to company and labor policies during their time on shift.
- Oversee shift leaders committing to their goal of order accuracy and exceptional guest service.
- Supervise and control shift leaders’ daily and weekly inventory, including chicken counts and waste.
- Ensure the shift leader controls staff to maintain a professional, safe, and orderly work environment.
- Ensure the shift lead handles customer complaints appropriately and steps in if resolution is not possible.
- Help fill in a position while daily/weekly cleaning schedules are met, allowing the shift lead to delegate work to the crew.
