J.Crew Factory in New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team. You’ll focus on driving a profitable store by building genuine connections with customers, coaching team members, and fostering brand loyalty.

You’ll partner with the leadership team to adjust operations, lead by example on the selling floor, plan local events, and ensure the team delivers outstanding service. The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and a hands-on approach to daily store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of retail experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and move around the store.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

• Have a track record of setting and achieving goals.

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Have 2 or more years of experience with similar scope, specialty retail preferred.
• Communicate effectively and confidently.
• Process information and operate store systems accurately.
• Are available when we are busy, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Are adept with technology and apps and familiar with industry-related blogs and feeds.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry and move at least 40 pounds | 18 kilos.
• Must regularly move around all store areas and be accessible to customers.

Hourly Range: $19.50 - $24.35
