GDLP Restaurant Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, develop team members, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will coach leaders, maintain operational excellence, and foster a culture built on accountability, teamwork, and growth. This role prepares you for future General Manager opportunities.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and passion for developing others.
• Previous restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food handler certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and hold others accountable.
• Reliable attendance and flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager.
• Coach, develop, and support Shift Leaders and team members.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are met.
• Follow safety procedures to keep teams and guests safe.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.
• Monitor labor, sales, inventory, and controllable costs.
• Support profitability through strong operational execution.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Lead by example and foster a positive, inclusive team culture.
• Step into any position as needed to support restaurant success.

ASSISTANT MANAGER
