Hungry Howie’s Pizza in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to help lead our fast-paced pizzeria. This role supports the General Manager in daily operations, focuses on guest satisfaction, team leadership, and adherence to company standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of management in a pizzaria or similar setting, holds a ServeSafe certification, and demonstrates strong communication, reliability, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience managing a pizzeria or similar fast-paced food service operation.
• Current ServeSafe Certification is required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to follow procedures, recipes, and operational standards without deviation.
• Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability (nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead staff during shifts to ensure efficiency and consistency in food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards (ServeSafe certified).
• Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and product specifications.
• Assist in scheduling, training, and mentoring team members.
• Monitor inventory, manage waste, and assist with ordering supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
• Step into any role as needed to support the team and meet business demands.

Position Summary:
