Job summary

World Market in Denver is seeking an experienced retail leader to drive a customer-first culture and oversee daily operations. You will guide engagement, brand values, and loyalty initiatives while analyzing trends to seize opportunities.

The role calls for coaching, staffing, and performance management to grow a high-performing team and ensure exceptional store experiences. Evening/weekend availability is expected in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail environment.
• Strong communication and coaching skills with ability to de-escalate customer situations.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute daily tasks and store initiatives.
• Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience in retail.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

What You’ll Do

• Model and lead a customer-first selling culture by driving engagement, customer loyalty initiatives, visual standards, and brand values
• Analyze business trends utilizing all available reporting to problem-solve business opportunities and take appropriate action
• Consistently exemplify, maintain, and foster the culture and values of World Market
• Plan for and execute daily business tasks and duties assigned by and in the absence of the Store Manager
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team that aligns with our company values through training, recognition, and performance management
• Utilize all company tools and training resources to educate and validate team execution of key business functions
• Validate and maintain all Loss Prevention policies and procedures and inventory management initiatives
• Support and maintain a safe work environment through ongoing safety training, awareness, and accountability

Application Deadline: November 05, 2026 Hourly Pay Range is $24.29-$28.29 Full time and Part time associates are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) retirement savings plan after three (3) months of service. All associates earn paid sick leave. Benefits for full-time employment on the first of the month following 30 days of continuous employment include offerings for programs including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending, Commuter Benefits and Employee Assistance.
