Job summary

Wendy's is seeking an Assistant Manager in Alabama to support daily restaurant operations and assist the General Manager in building a strong team and delivering an outstanding guest experience.

You will drive sales, ensure food safety, and foster a positive, inclusive work environment aligned with Wendy's People Excellence culture. The role requires leadership, coaching, and hands-on involvement across shifts.

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of restaurant industry experience, preferably in a supervisory or shift-lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety procedures, restaurant operations, and P&L management.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams at all levels.
  • Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training, and performance management.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Understanding of employment laws (federal, state, and local).
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions
  • Be able to work outside for prolonged periods, in all weather conditions
