Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and mentor shift managers, servers and bartenders. The AGM will be accountable for guest engagement, staff development, and adherence to health, safety and alcohol service standards.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years of management experience in a restaurant, a high school diploma, and preferably a bachelor's degree. A supportive benefits program and performance bonuses are offered.

SPORTS BAR RESTAURANT ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER

GAME DAY

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) position creates legendary experiences for guests and team members through the management of Shift Managers, Servers, Bartenders, Service Assistants and assumes full responsibility for the sports bar in the General Manager’s (GM) absence. The AGM is directly accountable for all guest related metrics for Servers/Bartenders and focuses on overall improvement of guest engagement tactics.

You know the business. You have a general knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, responsible alcohol service, safety and security systems and procedures, computer operations.

You know the plays to win the game. You can manage and direct work of others, champion change and analyze a Profit and Loss statement.

You have the education and experience. You’re a high school graduate or similar. Extra points if you bring a bachelor's degree, have 4-5 years of management experience and previous Restaurant Manager experience.
