Job summary

MotoMart, a Midwest convenience store operator, is hiring a shift supervisor in Belleville, IL. You will lead a store team, enforce policies, and help drive daily sales and service while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

This role offers weekly pay, bonus programs, and the opportunity to advance toward Assistant Manager and Store Manager as you gain experience and demonstrate leadership.

Description

• Be an excellent team leader, with interest in becoming a future Assistant Manager and Store Manager. Train, guide, and encourage the store team to adhere to policies and maintain our high standards


• Provide supervision of the store, assign tasks, reinforce procedures, correct behaviors, and ensure productivity, courtesy, cleanliness, and safety


• Keep the premises looking great, attend to customer and employee concerns, and control theft


• Execute store promotions and on-site advertising, survey competitors’ pricing, and report daily sales and operations


• Ensure that the building and equipment are maintained, and inspect and test store systems, equipment and premises


• Assist with other functions such as car wash, gaming rooms, and drive throughs if applicable

Responsibilities

• Must be at least 21 years of age


• Must consent to and clear a pre-employment background check


• Must posses an active valid driver's license with access to a registered, insured vehicle
