Job summary

Applebee's restaurants nationwide are hiring for an Assistant Manager in Angola, IN. The role supports the Restaurant Manager to run profitable daily operations, maintain standards, and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced casual dining environment.

The position requires at least 1 year in casual dining, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with POS systems; alcohol and food certifications are preferred. On-site work at 202 East Jacob Avenue, Angola, IN 46703.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in casual restaurant industry preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Current alcohol and food certifications per state preferred.
• Strong leadership and conflict-resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to meet physical demands of a restaurant environment.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

As the Assistant Manager, you will assist the Restaurant Manager in operating the restaurant profitably within the established practices and procedures of Company Operations. This position is responsible for cost control, customer service, restaurant and employee appearance, building sales, maximizing profits, and employee development.

What You'll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year's experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• A High School Diploma is preferred.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Current alcohol and food certifications that meet state requirements are preferred.
