Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Facilities Manager to join our maintenance team in Bozeman. You will perform preventive maintenance audits, address repair requests, and help manage budgets and parts inventories across assigned locations.

You will collaborate with local and national vendors and work with leadership to drive facility standards, training, and timely completion of service requests while supporting our mission to cultivate a better world.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade School certificate preferred.
• Clean motor vehicle record required.
• EPA certification preferred.
• 0–1 year in related field.
• 1+ year in restaurant industry.
• Must be mechanically inclined; able to lift 50 lbs.
• Plan, organize schedules and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform four preventative maintenance site audits in each location annually.
• Complete reactionary service calls timely and cost-effectively.
• Learn additional trades for higher in-house repairs.
• Coordinate with local and national vendors to meet Chipotle standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to align location goals.
• Manage direct M&R budget of assigned locations.
• Work with Apprentices/Facilities managers to identify capital needs and obtain quotes.
• Source, organize and track parts and inventory for repairs.
• Handle Service Channel requests and train restaurants when needed.
• Partner with Facilities Support Team to ensure timely, efficient requests.
• Meet administrative deadlines for mileage, Pcards, inventories, Tru-ups.

THE OPPORTUNITY

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform four Preventative Maintenance Site Audits in each assigned location annually
• Complete reactionary service calls in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Continue to learn additional trades contributing to higher in-house repairs
• Partner with local and national vendors to ensure work is completed is to Chipotles' standards
• Collaborate with sub-regional leadership team to have a unified purpose and vision inside our locations
• Manage direct M&R budget of assigned locations
• Work directly with Apprentice Facilities Manager or Facilities manager to identify capital improvement needs. Get quotes for such items and after installation validate quality and workmanship
• Source, organize and track parts and inventory for needed repairs
• Manage Service Channel requests to ensure all items are entered and closed out correctly, give SC training to restaurants when needed
• Partner with Facilities Support Team to ensure requests are assigned and completed in efficient manner
• Meet all administrative deadlines when it comes to mileage, Pcards, Inventories, and Tru-ups.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Trade School Certificate preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report required
• EPA Certification preferred
• 0-1 years’ experience in related field
• 1+ year(s) of experience in the restaurant industry
• Mechanically inclined, Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to use ladders on a frequent basis. Overnight travel may be required.
• Must be able to work independently for much of the day. Must be able to plan and organize schedules and stick to the plan. Must be able to effectively communicate through email and or phone conversations.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $22.11–$27.89. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors.
