BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance on plumbing, lighting, masonry, carpentry, and modular office furniture to support uninterrupted business operations in Columbia. Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 years of general maintenance; Journeyman's card may substitute part of the experience.

Summary Conduct maintenance and repairs on building components and workstations to ensure that there is no interruption of service during business hours.

Description Logistics: BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina - About Us | BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5PM. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located onsite at 105 New Way Road Columbia, SC 29223.
Occasional exposure to noise, dust or heat. Some out of town travel occurs. Physical effort such as heavy lifting (50 pounds).
