Job summary

Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Director to support the Maintenance Director in keeping the facility safe, clean, and comfortable for residents and staff. This full-time role involves routine maintenance, managing work orders, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Ideal candidates have healthcare maintenance experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare or skilled nursing.
• Knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to respond to emergencies and work independently.

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.
• Monitor and follow up on the facility’s work order system.
• Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly testing and inspections.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Assist with facility safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Provide coverage in the absence of the Maintenance Director.
• Participate in the facility’s on-call rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable Assistant Maintenance Director to support the Maintenance Director in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the facility.

• Monitor and follow up on the facility’s work order system.

• Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly testing and inspections.
