Job summary

Harbor Walk Apartments in League City, TX is seeking an Assistant Lead Maintenance Technician to support the Lead Maintenance Technician in daily operations and upkeep of the property.

This role requires 2+ years in apartment maintenance, strong plumbing, electrical and HVAC knowledge, and excellent verbal and written communication. You will perform turns/make-readies, mentor junior staff, participate in on-call rotations, and contribute to a positive, safety‑mocused team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience
• Experience leading, training, or mentoring maintenance team members
• Strong plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general maintenance knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and support the Lead Maintenance Technician
• Professional, dependable, and positive attitude
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• EPA/CPO certification preferred or willingness to obtain
