Job summary

Mercer University Athletics is seeking an Assistant Coach, Men's Lacrosse, to join our Division I program in Macon, GA. This role focuses on instructional duties and helping develop a competitive lacrosse program.

The assistant coach will participate in player development and evaluation, scouting/film analysis, fundraising, and ensuring student-athlete academic progress and NCAA compliance. Nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is required.
• Prior lacrosse coaching experience.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability by the university’s carrier.

Responsibilities

• Develop and contribute to a Division I intercollegiate lacrosse program.
• Primary duty is instructional with player development and evaluation.
• Scouting and film analysis.
• Fundraising activities.
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress and NCAA compliance.
