Job summary

PopStroke Entertainment Group is hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager and lead the kitchen team in daily operations. You will oversee food preparation quality, station setup, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

The role reports to the Kitchen Manager and requires strong leadership, extensive kitchen experience, and a Serve Safe Manager certificate. You will also help manage events and ensure timely, high-quality guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook, and expediter with a minimum of 1 year in a management/supervisor role.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Active Serve Safe Manager certificate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation, and safety practices.
• Set up stations and cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen team.
• Coordinate and production of events and functions.
• Maintain proper sanitation schedules and ensure security procedures are in place to protect staff and guests.
• Assist Kitchen Manager with labor control and assigning duties to team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
