Job summary

Ascension Federal Services, Inc. seeks an Assistant Information System Security Manager to lead security management for a Scalable GEOINT program. You will develop and oversee policies, coordinate RMF accreditation activities, and guide ISSOs to maintain a strong security posture.

This on-site role requires a TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years of information security management, and a degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent, with CISSP or CISM certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in information security management; degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent.
• SME-level security-policy development and oversight capability.
• CISSP or CISM certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee security policies, procedures, and implementation plans.
• Lead coordination of RMF accreditation activities, security controls, and change-impact reviews.
• Direct risk assessments, track POA&Ms, and coordinate remediation with engineering teams.
• Support inspections, security incident reporting, and protection of systems and information.
• Guide ISSOs and promote security awareness across the program.
