Job summary

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring a HVAC installer/apprentice to assist the lead installation technician in replacing heating and air conditioning systems. The role emphasizes safety, neat work practices, and compliance with state apprentice requirements in Idaho.

Salary ranges from $22.00 to $30.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement, paid time off, health insurance, training and tuition assistance as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior successful experience in a construction trade required.
• Prior experience as an Installation Technician in HVAC preferred.
• Must pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Completes installation paperwork neatly and on time.
• Uses drop cloths to protect client floors during installation.
• Maintains a neat work area and ensures cleanliness after job completion.
• Demonstrates safety-minded attitude on the job and while driving.
• Wears floor savers during work in the client’s home.
• Assists Lead Installer in maintaining production levels.
• Keeps company vehicle clean inside and out.
• Registers as an HVAC apprentice with the state of Idaho and follows required education path.

Job Summary

This position will assist the lead Installation technician with the installation of heating and air conditioning replacement systems.

Job Duties

• Completes installation paperwork in a neat, timely, and accurate manner that reflects all tasks performed for reporting accuracy and future comparison
• Uses drop cloths to protect client’s floors while performing installation
• Always maintains a neat work area and inspects that area for cleanliness after completion of each job
• Conveys a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving
• Wears floor savers while in the client’s home
• Assists the Lead Installer with maintaining required production levels
• Maintains company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and the outside
• Register as an HVAC apprentise with the state of Idaho and follow the state required education path

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior, successful experience in a construction trade required
• Prior, successful experience as an Installation Technician in the HVAC industry preferred
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug screen
• Clean driving record

Compensation: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
