Job summary

BrightPath Kids Montgomery Center in West Windsor, NJ is seeking a Teacher Assistant to work alongside teachers and families, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, following NAEYC guidelines.

We provide paid training on classroom procedures, no evenings or weekends, and opportunities for professional development. Full-time staff receive a childcare discount and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Decorate inside and outside of classrooms as needed.
• Maintain a warm and safe environment that is clean and permits children to grow and explore.
• Interact with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians about their child.

What will you be doing?

As a Teacher Assistant, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Assisting teachers with instruction in the classroom.
