This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work involves the regular and at times sustained performance of heavier physical tasks such as walking over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, working in confined spaces, and lifting or carrying moderately heavy items (20–50 pounds) and occasionally very heavy items (100 pounds or over). The work may involve complex operation of powered machinery or shop equipment requiring manipulation of multiple controls. The environment may be dirty or expose the employee to chemicals, dust, fumes, cold, heat, noise, vibrations, or dampness, potentially leading to non‑disabling injuries.
