The employee in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with company procedures and policies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Interact with all guests and employees to positively affect interactions and demonstrate resilience when dealing with difficult guests in all types of business conditions.
• Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.
• Responsible for cleaning all floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators.
• Responsible for vacuuming all floors.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock all restrooms.
• Mop floors around the bars, restrooms, and entrance.
• Remove all trash and debris from floors and trash cans, depositing trash and debris in the compactor and cardboard in designated dumpsters.
• Ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
• Contain, clean up, and dispose of all biohazards throughout the property.
• Complete all company‑required training within designated times.
• Occasional after‑hours work is necessary.
• Assist in the hiring process: interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Orient housekeeping staff and assist the housekeeping supervisor.
• Conduct regular inspections and make recommendations to the facility.
• Communicate with staff, administration, and other departments.
• Coordinate outside services (e.g., Pest Control, Window Cleaning, Medical and Solid Waste, Document Destruction, and Recycling program).
• Assist the supervisor with employees’ needs.
• Maintain an elevated level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, shop, and worksites.
• Stay aware of best practices; develop and recommend improved work methods and standards.
• Extended hours during seasonal planting and occasional after‑hours work are required.

Education & Experience

Working Conditions

Work involves the regular and at times sustained performance of heavier physical tasks such as walking over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, working in confined spaces, and lifting or carrying moderately heavy items (20–50 pounds) and occasionally very heavy items (100 pounds or over). The work may involve complex operation of powered machinery or shop equipment requiring manipulation of multiple controls. The environment may be dirty or expose the employee to chemicals, dust, fumes, cold, heat, noise, vibrations, or dampness, potentially leading to non‑disabling injuries.
