Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for The Asbury Ocean Club Hotel in Asbury Park, NJ. You will lead the housekeeping team to uphold the property’s meticulous cleanliness and presentation standards across 54 guest rooms and public spaces.

You will supervise staff, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, and brand SOPs, while championing guest satisfaction and a culture of hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping management preferred, with 1–2 years in a related role.
• Supervisory experience and ability to lead a team.
• Knowledge of hotel services, policies, and operations.
• Ability to communicate with guests and staff effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct, interview, hire, and schedule housekeeping staff.
• Lead pre-shift meetings and assign room duties.
• Assist Executive Housekeeper in hiring and selecting associates.
• Monitor productivity and consider promotions as needed.
• Handle employee complaints and disciplinary actions.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms and public areas; ensure SOPs.
• Assist with inventory, supplies, and budgeting.
• Respond to guest requests and maintain lost and found logs.
• Implement emergency training and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
