Job summary

TruBlue Home Service Ally is seeking an Assistant Home Service Technician to join our Frisco/Prosper/Celina team. You will assist Lead Technicians with repairs, installations, and maintenance, learning new skills and contributing to a reliable home services experience for seniors, busy families, and homeowners.

You’ll carry tools, wear a uniform, and support safe, efficient job sites while delivering excellent customer service and teamwork. Valid driver’s license and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on home repair experience with basic tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Fluent in English and legally allowed to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks including minor carpentry, drywall work, basic plumbing and electrical, and tile/flooring repair.
• Arrive on time in uniform with tools and materials; maintain clean work areas after jobs.
• Provide great on-site customer service and support other technicians as needed; maintain records of labor and materials.

TruBlue of Frisco, Prosper, & Celina is hiring for an Assistant Home Service Technician (Handyman/Handywoman/Contractor).

Role Overview

We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Assistant Home Service Technician to join our team and help our customers live better at home. You'll work alongside other Lead Technicians performing a variety of repair, maintenance, and improvement projects- learning new skills along the way and pitching-in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with general repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks including:
  • Minor carpentry (doors, trim, framing)
  • Drywall repair and painting
  • Basic plumbing (toilet installs, faucet replacement, leak fixes)
  • Basic electrical (switch/outlet replacement, light fixture installs)
  • Tile, flooring, and other general repairs
• Arrive on time, in uniform, carry tools, materials and equipment to and from job sites
• Help prepare work areas and clean up after jobs are completed
• Follow instructions and work safely at all times
• Provide great customer service on-site, representing the company in a professional manner
• Support other Technicians as needed
• Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and time spent on jobs

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Passionate about delivering great customer experiences
• Some hands-on home repair experience with basic tools
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new techniques
• Punctual, dependable, and ready to work as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
