Job summary

Clove Dental in Ventura, CA is seeking a reliable, experienced dental assistant for full-time, Monday to Friday with at least two Saturdays per month. You will chairside assist, take x-rays, maintain sterilization, and support the clinical team in a busy practice.

The position offers hourly pay based on experience, with opportunities to pick up extra shifts across offices, six paid holidays, PTO, and license/certification reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental practice.
• High School Diploma or GED; dental assisting certification preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Diamond Dental, Dentrix or Open Dental software.
• Current Hep B, 8-Hour Infection Control Certification, California X-ray License and CPR/BLS.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and ensure a comfortable experience.
• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures.
• Take x-rays and impressions.
• Maintain sterilization protocols and a clean operatory.
• Monitor supplies and lab cases.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly logs.
• Call in prescriptions as directed.
• Provide clear post-operative instructions.
• Document clinical notes precisely.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Were looking for a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Ventura . This role requires full-time availability with at least 2 Saturdays a month. If you're a motivated self-starter with strong clinical skills and a great work ethic, wed love to connect with you.

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: We pay hourly depending on experience, with consistent full-time hours and opportunities to pick up additional shifts across our offices based on performance and availability.
