Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to lead daily Grocery Department operations, supervise staff, ensure stock integrity, and drive sales while maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment. You will partner with the Grocery Manager to meet company standards in merchandising, inventory control, and cost management.

The role emphasizes team development, scheduling, and accountability, with a focus on customer service, promotions, and compliance across departments

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

Position Purpose The Assistant Grocery Manager assists in directing and supervising the daily operations of the Grocery Department to ensure outstanding customer service, maximum sales and profitability, effective merchandising, and compliance with Company policies and procedures. This position supports the Grocery Manager in leading department associates, maintaining inventory levels, and delivering a clean, safe, and well-stocked shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Sales
