Job summary

Arcis Golf is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional for Onion Creek Club in Austin, TX. You will support day-to-day golf operations and strive to deliver an exceptional experience for members and guests.

Responsibilities include overseeing golf operations with the Head Golf Professional, managing reservations and pace of play, and developing tournaments and instructional programs. Candidates should have Level 1 certification and golf operations background, plus strong communication and customer

Qualifications

• Level one certification or greater required.
• 2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred.
• Golf operations background and instruction experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the golf operation in conjunction with the Head Golf Professional.
• Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, club care, lockers, handicap fees, and other charges necessary, and facilitate proper controls.
• Monitor the reservation system and pace of play.
• Develop, manage and oversee tournament, golf instruction, and golfer development programs.
• Assist in training, supervising and motivating the golf operations staff to meet facility objectives.

On the job:
