Job summary

Loraloma in Spicewood, TX is seeking an Assistant Golf Professional to deliver instruction, support tournaments, and enhance member experiences at our premier golf destination.

This onsite role blends coaching, retail, events, and daily operations while you collaborate with a talented team to ensure top-tier service for members and guests.

A PGA Class A or Associate with Level 2 in good standing, plus strong communication skills and fitness, will thrive in our hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• PGA Class A or Associate - minimum Level 2 in good standing.
• Prior experience in golf operations, instruction, or a professional golf setting.
• Strong knowledge of golf techniques, rules, and etiquette.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and the game of golf.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group lessons for players of all skill levels.
• Assist with junior golf programs, clinics, and player development initiatives.
• Support day-to-day golf operations to ensure a seamless experience on and off the course.
• Assist with golf shop operations, merchandising, inventory, and maintaining a welcoming retail environment.
• Help manage practice facilities and ensure course readiness for daily play.
• Assist in planning and executing tournaments, outings, and special events.
• Support registration, scoring, and event logistics.
• Deliver elevated, personalized service to members and guests.
• Build strong relationships and foster a warm, inclusive club atmosphere.
• Proactively anticipate needs and resolve concerns with professionalism and care.
• Provide recommendations on club offerings, dining, and local experiences.
• Partner with golf professionals, staff, and other departments to ensure operational excellence.
• Support marketing and engagement efforts by promoting programs, events, and offerings.
