Job summary

The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians in Palm Springs, CA is seeking a 2nd Assistant Golf Professional to assist the Director of Golf with daily operations, supervise staff, manage tournaments, and teach lessons.

You will handle POS revisions for tee times and merchandise, coordinate with Accounting, reconcile payments, promote all club activities, and support training while maintaining a clean, organized shop and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• PGA Apprentice in good standing - 1st Assistant Golf Professional.
• Experience in golf operations and teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering POS revisions for tees, merch, and billing.
• Coordinate with Accounting on policy revisions and implementations.
• Reconcile daily tee sheets, check-in, and collect payments.
• Promote club golf activities and teach lessons (individual and group).
• Prepare for golf outings with scorecards, pairing sheets, and materials.
• Monitor member scores and report handicaps to USGA.
• Assist with associate training and safety practices.
