Qualifications

• PGA Member or Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary staff liaison for Ladies Golf Association activities and plan/administer events, leagues, clinics, and tournaments.
• Provide private golf instruction and conduct ladies' clinics and beginner programs.
• Support tournament planning and execution, daily golf shop operations, tee sheet management, and member communications.
• Deliver exceptional service to members and guests and assist with pace-of-play initiatives.

Rehoboth Beach Country Club is seeking an energetic and service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is overseeing the Ladies Golf Association while creating a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment for women golfers of all skill levels. The successful candidate will also contribute to instruction, tournament operations, member engagement, and daily golf shop operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Ladies Golf Association

• Serve as the primary staff liaison for all Ladies Golf Association activities.
• Plan and administer ladies' events, leagues, clinics, and tournaments.
• Work closely with Ladies Golf Association leadership and committees.
• Develop programs that increase participation, engagement, and enjoyment of the game.
• Welcome and integrate new members into ladies' golf activities.

Instruction & Player Development

• Provide private golf instruction.
• Conduct ladies' clinics and beginner golf programs.
• Support player development initiatives for golfers of all abilities.

Tournament & Golf Operations

• Assist with the planning and execution of club tournaments and golf events.
• Support daily golf shop operations, including tee sheet management, member communications, and merchandising.
• Deliver exceptional service to members and guests.
• Assist with pace-of-play initiatives and overall golf operations.

Programs & Events

Primary oversight includes:

• Ladies 9-Hole Association
• Ladies 18-Hole Association
• Ladies Member-Guest
• Ladies Member-Member
• Ladies Club Championships
• Ladies Clinics and Instructional Programs

Additional involvement includes:

• Member-Member
• Member-Guest
• Club Championships
• Junior and Member Programming

Compensation

• Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• This position includes expectations to earn additional income through golf lesson commissions, with a strong expectation of lesson activity throughout the season.
