Qualifications
Minimum 2-year turfgrass degree/certificate and 3–5 years of experience in golf course maintenance or similar supervisory role.
Valid New York State Pesticide Applicator License (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays and weekends.
Responsibilities
Supervise a maintenance crew of 10–15 employees.
Execute fertilization and pesticide application programs following IPM guidelines.
Train staff on the safe operation of specialized turf equipment.
